If You Ever Walk Out Of My Life

see full description for story.....LIMITED to 100 Copies,Here's an interesting (to say the least) limited edition release that at one time was destined not to come out. When Inferno launched its' Made In Detroit series of one one-sided singles 3 years ago, 4 releases were planned, 45's by The Precisions, Yvonne Vernee, Matt Lucas and Dena Barnes. All 4 labels were designed and printed as one job lot, but then what was thought was a deal to licence "If You Ever Walk Out Of My Life" fell through, and the release was shelved and forgotten about. Fast forward to now, and Passion Music who manufacture and distribute Inferno and Outta Sight, enter into a new licence deal for the much beloved Duke Browner and Mike Terry created "If You Ever Walk Out Of My Life" and release it on Outta Sight. Inferno's Neil Rushton asked if he could pay Passion royalties for them to do a collectors item edition on Inferno. It was feared the labels had been destroyed,, but after a search they were located and have been used to do a 100 run only, as Passion did not want to affect the Outta Sight sales too much, and Neil wanted a proper limited edition. So MID 4 now exists, and like the other 3 singles in the series the flip does not play but is engraved with "Made in Detroit" logo where the grooves would normally be. Costings mean it would be impossible to normally plan a release of just 100 copies, but due to the unusual strange world of Northern Soul circumstances here it is, one of the most iconic of all Northern Soul classics in a unique format. Sure to sell out quickly.
